Simplexity Product Development’s California location sits in Rancho Bernardo, just thirty minutes north of Downtown San Diego. Founded in 2005 by former Hewlett-Packard engineers specializing in the phase-gate design process, Simplexity’s San Diego office specializes in biotech instrument development, robotics and automation product development, wearables, internet of things (IoT) and connected consumer devices, printer development, and test fixtures. The engineering team of mechanical, electrical, systems, manufacturing, quality, firmware, and software engineers work closely together to ensure that applicable expertise is available to every client.

Our San Diego Product Development Facility

As part of the design center, the San Diego facility has prototyping equipment, a small-batch production line for building prototypes and early production units, a milling machine, lathe, and testing services. The location is experienced in all stages of the product development cycle, including concept work, detail design, engineering analysis, prototyping, and testing services for some of the world’s most advanced biotech, robotics and automation, and technology companies.
