October… It’s our favorite month of year at Simplexity when pumpkins and robots take the stage and we crown the winning teams in our annual Halloween Mechatronics Contest! This year was a blast and most of the contestants from our 4 amazing engineering teams also participated in our 2019 Halloween Mechatronics Contest. The teams were tasked with designing and building a Halloween-themed mechatronic contraption that uses advanced engineering skills in mechanical, electrical, computer, and controls engineering. It was a crazy contest this year and our engineers really outdid themselves, finding ways of making social distancing entertaining!
The 1st and 2nd place winners were determined by popular vote and they took home a special cash prize for their ingenious engineering skills and Halloween spirit.
