The time has finally come to crown the winners of Simplexity’s Halloween Mechatronics Contest! All our engineering teams did an amazing job and the top 3 winners will take home cash prizes for their designs.

Simplexity’s annual Halloween Mechatronics Contest is back with a twist that’s out of this universe and we need your help to choose the winners!

Designing electro-mechanical products that help the world is certainly our passion, but once a year Simplexity engineers apply their advanced product design skills such as Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineering to make ridiculously zany Halloween-themed contraptions and videos.

This year, we challenged our teams to design a an alien-themed mechatronic contraption and each team filmed and edited a fun video to solicit “likes” from viewers like you on YouTube (the video with the most YouTube likes wins the grand prize) and major bragging rights.

Over the years, we’ve seen some amazing mechatronic contraptions come out of the contest and this year we have 5 amazing teams participating and we invite you to help us choose the winning teams this year by clicking “watch on YouTube” and then “like” your favorite video on YouTube before the contest ends on Wednesday, November 1st at 12PM.
