The Portland, OR Metro office was founded in 2006 to serve Hewlett-Packard’s need for specialized engineering talent, and has since expanded to serve other clients like Microsoft and Nautilus. The office specializes in wearables, Internet of Things (IoT) connected devices, 2D and 3D printing, and consumer electronics. The facility has a small prototyping shop in addition to the larger design center space. The office is experienced in all stages of the product development cycle, including concept work, detail design, engineering analysis, and prototyping.
The Portland, OR Metro team consist of firmware, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers, including top experts who formerly worked at HP Inc. Their specializations include servo system development, custom gear train design, sensor fusion, and algorithm development, as part of the overall offering of electro-mechanical product development. The engineers from all of Simplexity’s offices work closely together to ensure that the most applicable expertise is available to every client, regardless of which location is their primary contact.
