Case Study: Library Preparation System Breadboard
PROOF OF CONCEPT TO DE-RISK AUTOMATED ASSAY WORKFLOW
This Automated Library Preparation System (ALPS) was designed as a stand-alone tabletop unit that includes all standard library prep components to enable library prep for molecular diagnostics in a space-efficient format. This small package library preparation system delivers a fully automated assay workflow, providing process efficiencies and improved systematic liquid handling accuracy. The user places consumables (which Simplexity has also designed) in the system and the system delivers a processed sample, ready for sequencing. Harnessing our expertise in printer drive train assemblies, this unit delivers a viable lower cost solution to an expanding market sector.
